ACTIVITIES
Monthly Friends Meeting on 2nd Thursday of each month
March and carry banners in local parades – Ypsilanti, Milan, Chelsea and Saline
Support the "Sons and Daughters" organization for all veterans children who have died since the Vietname War.
Maintain Flowerbed at Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Ypsilanti Township
Assist at Ceremonies at Vietnam Veterans Memorial
Attend committee meetings (VA Hospital committee and others)
MISSION
The Mission of the Friends of Chapter 310 is to support the efforts of Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc., and to assist
and promote the projects and programs of Vietnam Veterans for the betterment of all veterans and their families.
GOALS
Assist Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 310 in their events and activities which further the cause for
all veterans and their families
- Support fellow "Friends" of Vietnam Veterans
- Welcome and include new members into the group
- Continue to evaluate our Mission and Goals to determine how best to complement and be integral to Chapter 310
Special Projects
- Monthly Minutes and/or Article in Dispatch
- Flowers at the Washtenaw County Vietnam Veterans Memorial
- "Friends" Shirt and/or Jacket
- Memorial Paver Fund (Pop cans) – Pavers completed Summer 2002
