Washtenaw County Honor Guard

Attention Veterans

The Honor Guard needs YOU!  We provide Military Honors and recognition to those men and women who have served our great country. We extend this invitation to join our squad as we honor these heroes and their families.  

We’ve been called on numerous times to provide Military Honors Services.  It is indeed an honor and a privilege to be there when these families need us.  It is indeed an honor and a privilege to honor these men and women for their service to our community and country.

We perform the rifle salute, Taps with echo and the American Flag presentation to the immediate family.  These typically are at the graveside, but many times at a funeral home or their family church.

Please consider being part of our unit.  We’ll provide, if necessary, uniforms and training.  But, we need volunteers to assist us with the many times we are called on across Washtenaw County.
