Annual AVVA Veterans Day Ceremony and Agent Orange Balloon Launch
On Thursday, November 11, 2010 the AVVA Chapter 310, Afilliated with VVA Chapter 310 presented a wreath at the Washtenaw County Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Ypsilanti, MI. We launched the 1st Agent Orange Balloons in memory of all Vietnam Veterans, who died or are inflicted with diseases from Agent Orange. VVA President Bob Kwiecinski welcomed everyone. The Washtenaw County Honor Guard presented a 21 Gun Salute, Ralph Harris played Taps, Ken Rogge and Tim Driscoll read poems "The Big Black Wall" and "Hello From the Inside" written by Dave Hizer, VVA 310 Member.
