The Michigan World War II Memorial

 

The WW2 Memorial is an honor tribute to Michigan residents who served in the US Armed Forces during World War II--abroad or on the home front. Visitors have a chance to commemorate and celebrate those who did so much to preserve our freedom. Future generations can be inspired by the deeds, remarkable patriotism, selfless sacrifice, and extraordinary devotion to liberty that helped save the world.

BasicDesignThe memorial is locatd at the Memorial Park of Royal Oak, Michigan.  (13 Mile Rd & Woodward, North of 13 Mile), which is a well-known, historical, and accessible location.  In this location, visitors have a chance to pay due respect to the veterans of World War II and to enshrine the sacrifices and achievements of Michigan veterans. Future generations can become aware of the great sacrifices that were made by their fellow citizens in the defense of freedom.
