February 20, 1942 – February 19, 2014

She was an earthly angel – a patient, saintly, iconic woman,
Who laughed and cried because, after all, she was only human.

A loving wife, a treasured mom, a very involved grandmother;
A caring soul, who always did her best to help another.

She took the good with the bad, the hand that she was dealt;
Withstood pain, never complained, no matter how bad she felt.

When asked, “How are you, Lois”--even when it was not a good day--
“Oh, yeah,” “I’m alright,” “I’ll be okay,” were phrases she would say.

This reflected of her positive outlook, always upbeat and bright;
Whether facing chemo treatment or pain, she always kept it light.

Her quiet yet strong demeanor was a model to admire.
She persevered each challenge with the strength of a Xycom buyer!

From working mom to retiree - a sense of humor always there.
It took her through life’s ups and downs, when things got hard to bear.

A staunch supporter of George and all vets, showing concern for every friend.
“Never give up,” was how she lived, and she kept giving to the end.

Admired by all for who she was: understanding, honest and true;
May God watch over her family and friends – until we all join you.
